Tooth Whitening

Your teeth will darken over time. Changes in the color of your teeth can be caused by such factors as the food and beverages consumed (like coffee, tea and soda). Other known factors for discoloration may include childhood medications or illnesses, tobacco use or improper oral hygiene. Restoring your natural white smile is a priority for our dental whitening team. We can provide a variety of options for whitening your smile.

Opalescence Whitening

One of the methods we use to whiten teeth is Opalescence Whitening. This method involves applying a gentle, carbamide peroxide gel at home using special, custom-made trays.   Once the process is reviewed with the patient, a brief weekly checkup is all that is needed to monitor color changes and sensitivity.  Adjustments in the process can be made if needed.

Nite White

Another method of whitening is the Nite White system, which can whiten your teeth at your convenience. Generally, patients will wear the custom-fitted tray with the Nite White gel while they sleep or for a few hours during the day. Patients will start seeing results after the first night of wear and will see continued results in the next 10-14 days while continuing with the process. The active ingredient, carbamide peroxide, is proven to be safe for teeth and gums while successfully whitening your smile.  Nite White gel has a stonger concentration than the Opalescence gel.

Nothing improves your appearance more than a bright, white smile!
